Despite the problems faced by Ubisoft at the beginning of the year, the French company brought news about The Crew franchise . The beloved racing game series will enter a new era with the launch of The Crew Motorfest. The new one will arrive in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC via the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store and the subscription service Ubisoft +.

In the new title, the action takes place on the Hawaiian island of O’ahu, with several stunning locations in what is considered one of the most beautiful settings on Earth. According to the developers in statements in the official launch video, the game will allow fun with different vehicles, in an open playground through the streets of cities like Honolulu, going down the slopes of volcanoes or walking along hidden trails in the rainforest. All with the blessings of nature and embraced by the sunshine of tropical paradise.

 

Whether alone or in a group, players will be able to explore the entire island while piloting hundreds of the most legendary vehicles. The Crew Motorfest promises to bring the best experiences that “automotive culture has to offer”, explains Stéphane Beley, creative director of the game. It will be possible to drive in several custom races, participate in themed events and complete other unique challenges. “ This time, we want to create something special until the official launch. That’s why we introduced the Insider program”

 

Those eager for news will be able to experience a first contact with The Crew Motorfest from February 1st thanks to the Insider program, whose free registration has already started.

“Insider” is the closed test program divided into different phases, aiming to support the Ubisoft Ivory Tower development team. By collecting feedback to ensure a better experience on the launch date, developers plan quick iterations, with frequent updates of developed content.
